Dear Cloudflare Support Team,

I am reaching out to request assistance in understanding how to set up email services and host a website on the Cloudflare platform. I am new to Cloudflare and would appreciate your guidance in getting these aspects configured correctly.

Specifically, I have the following questions:

  1. Email Setup:
  • Does Cloudflare provide its own email service, or should I use an external email service like Google Gmail or another provider?
  • If Cloudflare does not offer email services, what are the recommended steps for integrating an external email service with my domain on Cloudflare?
  1. Website Hosting:
  • Can you provide guidance on how to host my website on Cloudflare?
  • Are there any specific DNS settings or configurations I need to make to ensure my website is properly accessible through Cloudflare’s network?

I already have Zoho email for one domain with GoDaddy as DNS manager and the GDaddy Webuilder for the website. I m not getting how to get started with Cloudflare.

If possible, I would also appreciate any relevant documentation or tutorials that can further assist me in the setup process.

Short answer is no, cloudflare does not host your email. Here is a great Tutorial as you contemplate getting started

Cloudflare does host sites (there are exceptions but not certain Cloudflare Pages is what you’re contemplating as you get started. You need to find a reliable web hosting provider, cloudflare will sit between that provider and visitors to your site (all the while making it faster, safer, and easier to manage).
