Request errors and email existing when changing super admin email


I am trying to change the super admin email to another. There is just one email associated with this account that is the current super admin email, and it is not the email I am trying to change it to. When I tried changing it I keep getting an error saying there are too many requests or that the email already exists. Which it doesn’t.

How can I change it?

If it was used here before, it can’t be used until at least a year after it’s been deleted.

Have you tried changing it to yet a different email address?

At least a year! Wow! No it hasn’t been used before on this account. After I kept getting the error messages, I tried adding as a regular admin but revoked the invitation before they accepted in case it affected the change over.
