What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
DNS, namecheap, started over
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
As the domain isn’t active on Cloudflare any longer (nameservers changed to ns1.registrar-servers.com & dns2.registrar-servers.com), no Cloudflare features can act on your domain at all.
Your website address https://www.alignwithdanita.com/ (with www) points to a 404 error page on LeadConnectorHQ. If you’re using LeadConnector for your site, then something isn’t quite right at their end and you need to get their support team to assist you with this. If you’re not using LeadConnector, then get support from NameCheap to point your domain to your website hosted with them.
But the address https://alignwithdanita.com/ (without www) does not work at all because hostname alignwithdanita.com has no IP address. You need to setup a redirect in NameCheap to forward this to the www address.
Again, as the domain is no longer active on Cloudflare, there’s nothing to do here at Cloudflare all.
Also LeadConnectorHQ (GoHighLevel) says they dont see it on their end. Is there a way to create this all in cloudflare to somehow override the issue in LeadConnectorHQ? My domain is stuck in the cyber land and no one seems to know what to do
I simply opened the link https://www.alignwithdanita.com/ – which opens the 404 page shown below. Then I viewed the HTML source of the page, which shows lots of the page’s assets coming from leadconnectorhq.com.
Granted, while the page surely has something from LeadConnector, that’s no definite proof that the domain is pointed at them. It could just be a widget embedded on the page from some 3rd-party site builder.
Digging deeper…
DNS lookup shows www.alignwithdanita.com is actually pointed at ClickFunnels!
www.alignwithdanita.com. 1799 IN CNAME target.clickfunnels.com
This CNAME record pointing at ClickFunnels should be in your NameCheap DNS manager, since you’re using NameCheap’s nameservers now.
So who is actually hosting your site? ClickFunnels? GoHighLevel? NameCheap?
You need to ensure your domain name is properly pointed from your NameCheap DNS manager to the provider that’s hosting your website!
As I said earlier, there’s nothing to do in Cloudflare now since your domain is no longer active in your Cloudflare account. The reason you may see a Cloudflare IP address if you look up A record for the domain or use of one of those “who is hosting this” sites is that ClickFunnels (where www.alignwithdanita.com is currently pointed via a CNAME record) uses Cloudflare… but this has nothing to do with your own Cloudflare account.
ClickFunnels is hosting my site. 6 days ago i went to to create a subdomain in leadconnector, there were errors so i erased it. I did the same for cloudflare, errors and erased it. Now for some reason leadconnector is hijacking the domain and the 404 error shows. I have tried everything to get it back to clickfunnels. Any thoughts on how to solve this?
