Cloudflare protects websites by sitting in front of Internet requests, and we work with website owners and hosting providers to identify underlying problems in their server configuration.
Please update this information page to remove this false claim. Cloudflare does not actively work with website owners to identify underlying problems in their server configuration, since “Cloudflare doesn’t have control” over site settings and “there’s nothing [Cloudflare] can do with this.”
That page as it is currently worded, is highly deceptive and misleading.
Cloudflare protects websites by sitting in front of Internet requests, and we work with website owners and hosting providers to identify underlying problems in their server configuration.
If the website owner has issues with their website (server down, etc.) and they ask for help by creating a support ticket to Cloudflare, Cloudflare can provide support to the website owners to help them investigate the issue with their website.
Another thing is, rate limiting block is not even 5xx class errors. Rate limiting block returns Error 429.
