We are facing a very serious issue, and I urgently need your help!!
We migrated Misradia’s website to a Shopify store. I attempted to connect the domain, but we found that it does not support Cloudflare, so we disconnected it from there. The domain is supposed to be managed through Domain The Net.
I had a look into the DNS records and Cloudflare status and even though you mentioned that you have disconnected the domain from Cloudflare yourself more than 24 hours ago, upon investigating from our end, there is a block on your domain on the Cloudflare end which is preventing us to issue the SSL certificates.
Thank you in advance for your urgent attention to this matter.
This is Jem from Shopify. Thank you so much for taking the time to reach us out earlier!
With your concern, we can indeed verify that the domain is still attached to a Cloudflare that we cannot remove on our end. Only your domain provider can do this for you. If you’ll check this website, you’ll see that the Server Type is labeled as Cloudflare. This is something that you need to discuss with your domain provider as our tools cannot remove this given that this is already a 3rd party.
That’s correct. It’s because Shopify uses Cloudflare for all of their stores. If you go to shopify.com, it will also say Server: cloudflare in the site headers.
Right now, as their error message tells you, the problem is with the Shopify settings:
Thank you Laudian,
We have talked with Shopify Plus 10 times, its the last 3 days, They said all the configuration is configured properly on their side. And the issue is on Cloudflare…
Im already confused, and very Frustrated by this situation
The site has been down for 3 days and Shopify is referring me to you
I sent 4 emails and opened a ticket and no one has gotten back to me. There is no chat and there is simply no one to talk to…
If you add the domain back to Cloudflare, can you create a support ticket (category: Account) and share the ticket number here?
Someone from Cloudflare support indicated they might be able to help you directly, but for that you would have to prove the domain is yours by adding it back to your Cloudflare account.
No. I don’t know why you filed an abuse report, but you will need to create a support ticket. Click on Support and Contact Cloudflare in the top right corner of your Cloudflare dashboard.
And support will only be able to help (if they are able at all) with domains that are currently active in your Cloudflare account.
