Redirects/page rules for blog

Hi there,

Newbie question regarding page rules. Thanks for your help.

I’m switching my site from WordPress where the blog posts have urls such as example.com/latest-post onto a new site where the blog posts will be example.com/blog/latest-posts.

What would I need to do with page rules so that if someone with the old url without the word blog in it is redirected to the new url?

I’m sure it’s simple to do but I can’t find the answer elsewhere.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi @user2833,

Assuming you want:

example.com/post1 to redirect to example.com/blog/post1
example.com/post2 to redirect to example.com/blog/post2

and so on, so the path is the same and all pages are redirected, you just need a rule that looks something like:

You could have a look at Using page rules to perform redirects and Using Wildcards in Page Rules if you want details on this.
