Redirecting a domain to another subdomain with dummy DNS

Hi,

I have a domain https://examplemaindomain.co.nz (1) and I want to redirect the domain to https://monkeys.bananas.co.nz/apes (2) How would I do this and what have I missed?

So far I have:

  1. Created a dummy A record for (1) - Using CF and dummy IP of 192.0.2.1
  2. Created a forwarding rule from (1) to (2) however I get a page showing connection issues
