Redirect www.subdomain.domain.ca to subdomain.domain.ca

#1

Hi,

My domain currently works to the third subdomain (ie subdomain.domain.ca). I want to idiot proof my site by making it so that if a user types in www.subdomain.domain.ca, it redirects to subdomain.domain.ca. I have tried many things for hours, help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I’ve got a similar problem. Suppose my domain is domain.ca. There’s an A record for subdomain.domain.ca pointing to the same IP and on our server it’s checked using Apache’s RewriteCond. The regular expression in RewriteCond includes (www.)?, so it’s ready to handle www.subdomain.domain.ca as well. But adding www.subdomain in Cloudflare’s form as a new A record doesn’t work. Is there any way which does?
