Please can someone help me. I am using the redirect rules to redirect my url to linktree and I cannot get the configuration right (although I am not that technical 
Please can someone help me to understand why my:
won’t redirect to my linktree url: Brinn Tomes | Neuro Synthesist | Life Transformational Mentor | Life Coach | Parent | Linktree
The redirect is in place, but you need to proxy the DNS entries →

I have just added them to go to the url using www…
what else do I need to do?
You can’t use a link as a CNAME, it must be a hostname.
But as you are using a redirect, you need to delete that CNAME and add a proxied DNS entry for each of @ (for brinntomes.com) and www and set both to A 192.0.2.1 or AAAA 100::
ok thanks - so where did you get this: 192.0.2.1 (so I can learn for future)?
Also I tried that but its not working.

If not for you, try clearing your browser cache.
You had to switch to proxied entries, but as you already did that it’s now working.
