What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I have Home Assistant reachable with VPN, but I want to make it reachable to my gardener because so he can test the irrigation system by himself.
I would prefer not to make Home Assistant public with the URL like https://ha.example.com, but maybe hide it with a strange URL like https://ha.example.com/hbfr3ubg9Y)(GV£89gr2fbvwbfvjiw.
I’ve tried with a redirect with page rule using the LAN IP as redirect, but it redirects the browser to the LAN IP that clearly can’t be reached.
Is it possible to achieve this or something similar?
Thanks!
But since it’s HTTPS, the DNS is available in the CA public databases.
You randomly generated path will not be in those databases.
I know, but I’m back at square 1: how do I remap that random URL to my internal URL?
