If that’s what you actually did, then that just redirects a domain to itself.
Assuming those domains are actually different, then ensure you have a DNS record for the domain/subdomain you are redirecting from. Use a dummy proxied value of A 192.0.2.1 or AAAA 100:: as this is just for redirect.
Otherwise, can you give you the domains?
