Recursive Queries for domain

Hi,

We just changed our NS records to Cloudflare on Friday and now see a warning about recursive queries for the domain.
if we check at intoDNS: atriuminvest.com.au - check DNS server and mail server health, we get the following
Recursive Queries I could use the nameservers listed below to performe recursive queries. It may be that I am wrong but the chances of that are low. You should not have nameservers that allow recursive queries as this will allow almost anyone to use your nameservers and can cause problems. Problem record(s) are:
173.245.59.107
173.245.58.112

Is this normal?

Thanks

It’s normal in that their tool doesn’t accurately report on the availability of recursion using Cloudflare nameservers.

I’m not sure how they are testing but here’s another test which shows the opposite (not that I know how they tested either, but this one is correct): http://openresolver.com/?ip=173.245.59.107

Hi @Steven_Reid,

The results provided by intodns are not accurate regarding recursive. Cloudflare IPs do not provide recursive DNS. We’ve let the site operator know.

Just a point of interest that that site is still reporting inaccurately.

2019, and intodns still reports recursive inquiries

It would seem that was already addressed
