@ record changes to domain name

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

When I try to create an @ record the “@” automatically changes to “fabtribute.com” in the record

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I’m having some weird problems getting my domain to map to my wordpress host. I just wanted to confirm that it is normal on Cloudflare that when I try to create an “@” DNS record, when saved the “@” changes to the domain name “fabtribute.com

On my other domains (with another provider) the record saves as an “@” and so I’m just trying to compare records from a working site with the one I’m having an issue with,

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS records

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Create a new A record with “@” as the name. When saved the “@” changes to the domain name. Just confirming that this is normal behavior and shouldn’t cause issues mapping to a wordpress site on another host.

That is normal. You enter @ and Cloudflare will always show it as the domain name (which is what it represents) when showing the DNS list.

Thanks. This is my first domain as cloudflare so I’m still getting used to how it works here.
