Recommended solution for our setup?

Hello! We have a WordPress site that we would like to install the Cloudflare plugin on for improved performance, however our DNS domain is already heavily integrated into the Azure platform and can’t be moved (not without weeks of work rewriting scripts and other integrations). What is the best way to support the WordPress site with the plugin, without transferring authoritative DNS to Cloudflare for our entire domain? We’ve seen references to a “CNAME setup” and “SSL for SaaS” but are not sure if these would be a good fit for our situation. Any recommendations?

If you don’t want to have your authoritative DNS on Cloudflare, then the only viable option for most users is a CNAME setup.

Enterprise customers can also use Secondary DNS, which might be an option depending on your setup.
