hello @hklcf,

I’m afraid that won’t be enough for me to provide some more clue here

Could you elaborate a bit more on what happens? Providing HAR of the requests with the issue?

Hello @stephane ,
I recently found that cloudflare send a lot of caching requests to my server.
HK (Hong Kong) is the location of my IP address, so i should connect to Cloudflare’s HKG (Hong Kong) Edge.
But now all the traffic has been routed to SIN (Singapore) Edge under my domain, other domain don’t have this problem.

Ah, i see.

Depending on your zone, we apply some colo preference according to your level of plan. For lower plans, we prefer cheaper colos with cheaper bandwidth.

See our blog post here: https://blog.cloudflare.com/bandwidth-costs-around-the-world/

I have a Spanish IP. My ISP peers directly with CloudFlare in the Madrid datacenter.
With PRO sites, I see that I connect directly to Madrid, but with FREE sites, I get sent from Madrid to the datacenter in Lisbon (Portugal), doubling the latency and load time.

I understand that you guys use cheaper colos, but I suppose that’s not the case in Europe, and especially not with my ISP which you guys peer directly with!
I think this is a bug on CloudFlare.

Besides me connecting to the DC in LIS, I have also noticed that other Spanish IPs connect to the DC in BCN when visiting FREE CloudFlare sites.

If it’s impossible to connect us straight to MAD-DC (even when my ISP peers directly with CloudFlare), can we connect to BCN instead of LIS? (Its faster for us to connect to BCN than LIS.)
