Radio cast server on DNS Only. Would that go against terms and conditions?

I want to use a subdomain using a domain already under my cloudflare account. The subdomain will be pointing to my “IceCast” radio server that allows audio streaming. Will I be going against cloudflare policies if I use it for DNS only purpose? I dont want to proxy it as I dont need to do that. Based on what I’ve researched, they dont allow streaming on proxy as it builds up a lot of bandwidth usage on their servers.

DNS-Only means traffic isn’t going through Cloudflare at all, so you are ok.

Hi Laudian, thanks for replying. I kind of assumed that would be the case but I wanted to double check with others. Cloudflare has some vague terms that could be interpreted in different ways. Other forums with the same questions have been answered in different ways. Some have said to not use it whilst others say to use CF’s Stream service. My streaming service is on CF’s DNS at the moment so I’ll wait and see if they take action.

I’d suggest add your vote here so we might get this feature in the future
