I was not able to recreate this connection is not private error. Are you only seeing this issue when using an Indonesian IP? When you check the details for the certificate, what do you see?

I faced a similar issue in 2025. When my IP was from Indonesia, I encountered the same problem. I had to enable my VPN to make it work.
Is there any way to prevent this issue? I don’t want to use a custom domain, but I’m worried many of my users will get confused and think my website is down. Any solutions?
In that case, your ISP is attempting to intercept your HTTPS traffic, which is a terrible thing to do. It’s best to stick with a VPN if you’re going to use that r2.dev hostname.
It’d be even better to set up a Custom Domain for it.
