R2 S3 API URL Not Connecting with SSL Error

Hi I just signed up for CF yesterday and am trying to set up a public R2 bucket for static files. I created my bucket and the S3 API access token with proper permissions and am attempting to access it with the aws cli, but I can’t even list the buckets.

I already deleted the buckets and tokens for newer ones and it still doesn’t work.

I’ve noticed the S3 API URL doesn’t seem to be working with aws cli with my new api tokens or even opening it on the browser. Comparing it with other urls that i have seen on the internet in forums, they at least return a 404 or an unauth http error if you open them in your browser. However, my account id + url just returns an ssl error in the browser similar if you just put in a non-existent account id in the url.

My s3 api url: https://e46878c3a9879f57b968bd675f7ca5cd.r2.cloudflarestorage.com
Random s3 api url: https://asdf.r2.cloudflarestorage.com

Response the same for both: SSL validation errors

This is a new account, so I haven’t done too many changes to it. Did I miss a step in configuring it or is this related to the recent outage?

Thanks for the help.

Ok, this is fixed now! Apparently cloudflare is now aware of the issue. https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/incidents/smtwzqwms5lp
