R2 redirects fail on mobile

hi all.
i started using Cloudflare R2 service. only R2 (no website, dns, etc.).
i uploaded a bunch of video files.
i have some scorm packages on one of my e-learning platforms where those videos are shown
i set up a dns record for the purpose (i’m using aws dns service)
on the server side (ubuntu20, apache) i set apache conf for that domain so that there is a permanent redirect to the public url of my bucket @ Cloudflare:
RedirectPermanent / https://pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.r2.dev/

finally, on my scorm packages i set up the video urls to point to my dns (i.e.: https://cdn.example.com/bucketname/folder/file.mp4 )

now, on the desktop: no issues at all.

on mobile many people are asking for assistance because the videos are not loading.
what’s wrong?

  2. What is the error you are seeing?
  3. Do you have mobile redirects enabled in Cloudflare?

  1. my domain is cdn.accmed.org
  2. about the error… eh… i can’t replicate the error. and the people who is writing me, well, are not enough skilled to catch the exact error. they say there is a generic “the content cannot be loaded” or “this site could be dangerous” (just received).
  3. i do not manage site or dns via Cloudflare, then i’ve not such an option in my panel. or i’m blind and i’m not able to find it. :slight_smile:
