R2 Public bucket cannot be reached from Dubai

Hello,

We have a bucket set to public with several files that we are using on our customer’s website.

Everything was fine until yesterday (for about 3-4 weeks) when the files in the bucket, or the bucket itself, started to be unreachable for Dubai users, and probably for UAE users in general.

There are no issues from any other regions worldwide that we are aware of, but unfortunately our Client and his customers are all from Dubai.

For instance, here there is a link that is not reachable from Dubai:

Any idea? This has been the case since yesterday when the service stopped working in Dubai. Our customer wants us to migrate to S3.

Looking at https://www.cloudflarestatus.com Dubai seems fine, but still those images cannot be reached from there.

Do users receive an error message when they attempt to access your R2 content?

Without evidence whatsoever, I suspect that the UAE ISPs are censoring the content, potentially with a blanket ban on r2.dev domains. If you add a custom domain to the bucket does the problem persist?

For some reason the UAE ISPs is blocking the urls. We did not have the custom domain option as we were just using R2 service for this client, nothing else. Unfortunately, we had to move forward and re-implement the image section with a different provider.
