Questions on WebSocket Limits

We are currently looking to launch a webapp, and use Cloudflare services. Our app relies heavily on Web Sockets, with our internal team our app has around 50 concurrent connections.

As we launch, we except to have around 1000 connections, and we are expecting to scale up from that rapidly. Can we get any ballpark ranges for # of connections for the plans. What’s the difference between Low/Medium/High?

If we disable the Cloudflare proxy (ie. DNS Only) for the subdomain are app is using do we still need to worry about any limits? Or is it only when the proxy is enabled?

Here’s a good thread on the subject:

This only applies when :orange: Proxied. Otherwise Cloudflare is not part of that connection.
