Hi everyone, do you know if I can connect multiple .com domains to a website, even if these domains doesn’t come from the same domain provider? For example, if my domain name that I want would be eclipselunary.com, but I want another version which would be written like this éclipselunary.com (this one uses é which you can’t use on cloudflare). Could I buy the different domain names on cloudflare and link the éclipselunary.com that I buy on go daddy (which allow to use IDN (é)) to my original website? Sorry for my english, im french, have a nice day
The most common (and simple) way, would be to choose one of your domains as the primary domain for your organisation, where the website is residing.
You can then add the alternative domains as well, but configure these with a redirect, so if people try to visit the alternative domain names, they will just be redirected to the website on the primary domain name.
A such set up would be possible no matter if we’re talking about different spellings like the example you provided, or with different TLD, such as e.g. having the main website on example.com, but having e.g. example.fr as an alternative domain name, that will just redirect to example.com.
