Purpose of function Block against Challenge

Hello,

Both mitigation method basically cannot be bypass by botnets.

  • ‘Block’ definitely unable to enter.
  • 'Captcha challenge only can be solved by humans.

Could anyone explain to me why should we use ‘BLOCK’ for some filtering while ‘CHALLENGE’ could actually block the bots?

Block is if you’re absolutely positive you do not want that visitor in your site.
Challenge is if there’s a chance it’s a legitimate visitor you’d like to have access to your site.
