What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I tried to purge cache for single file, but the file is still showing up.
May I ask have you tried clearing your Web browser cache just in case, or visiting via different Web browser, or even Incognito Mode (Private Window)? 
I tried everything, including opening in a different browser and in an incognito window. I tried manually purging cache as well as using curl command and Postman. Both returned “success:true” results. After a couple of days I just redeployed my project to Github and finally got rid of the file. So, I don’t know what exactly helped to remove it.
