What is the issue you’re encountering

I’m considering using a R2 bucket for my sites static files. The pricing is pretty straightforward but doesn’t mention anything about GET requests for non-existant files. This happens on my site often (scrapers) so if 404 errors cost money a R2 bucket would be prohibitively expensive.
