I can’t bypass port 25 with Tunnel

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Hello,

I am trying to use Cloudflare Tunnel to bypass port 25, which is blocked by my ISP. I understand that Cloudflare Tunnel only supports HTTP/HTTPS traffic. All my web-based apps work fine using the Tunnel with type “HTTPS” when creating a public hostname.

I noticed different types of options in the dropdown list, such as TCP, UNIX, and SSH, in addition to HTTP/HTTPS. So, I am wondering if I can create a TCP type of hostname, and the URL would be 192.168.1.50:25 (192.168.1.50 is my email server IP). I did try the TCP type but had no luck.

If the Tunnel only supports HTTP/HTTPS traffic, what does the TCP type mean when creating a hostname?

Thanks

Cloudflare tunnel is for the connection between Cloudflare and your server. It handles the different kinds of traffic that you see in the dropdown menu.

But to make these non-HTTP/S services available from Cloudflare’s Edge, you need Spectrum Enterprise. Without Spectrum, Cloudflare only accepts HTTP/S traffic for your domain.

You can also connect to these services by installing Cloudflared or WARP on the client, but that doesn’t help you with running a mail server.

Thanks for the quick response. Where can I find the pricing/plan for the Spectrum Enterprise?

Enterprise pricing is always custom, but you can expect it to start in the thousands per month range.
