After enabling the proxy, the site becomes inaccessible. The browser says clear cache, but that doesn’t really help. After disabling the proxy, forwarding to the site works. What could be the problem?

Does it say something like error try clearing cookies or too many redirects? Your ssl is set to Flexible, if you set it to Full (strict) and proxy 
your DNS records does the error go away?
