Good morning everyone,
I’m trying to set-up my home server. As of now I’m facing a problem with my iPad and WARP.
When I try to log-in to Proxmox web with WARP enabled after clicking log-in I get again the login screen in loop.
From android everything is working as expected whereas for iPad I can login only if i disable the tunnel and I log-in in cloudflare access before proxmox.
The target would be to use cloudflare access when connecting from other pc and warp tunnel on my devices to get direct access.
Do you know how can I adjust the configuration of the tunnel to work also with iPad?
Many thanks
Hello @riccardo.io2
This could be related to the authentication process or a misconfiguration in the WARP settings on your iPad, or possibly your iPad not accepting cookies from this site due to possibly being Untrusted.
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
-
Make sure your iPad trusts the site and that cookies are allowed, so that Proxmox can store its authentication token.
-
Verify WARP Configuration: On your iPad, make sure that WARP is configured correctly. You might want to switch to DNS-only mode to see if that allows you to log in without disabling the tunnel entirely.
-
Inspect Server Logs: Check the server logs for any errors related to the login attempts. This can provide clues as to why the login is failing.
-
Update WARP: Make sure the WARP client on your iPad is up to date.
Please let me know if you have any questions or require further assistance!
Hi @CFBrandon many thanks.
The solution was to save as favorite the website to consider it trusted. May I ask you why this solve the issue, it is not clear why the cookie i get loggin-in with cloudflareaccess is trusted but the one i get with warp is not.
Many thanks
