I bought my domain from GoDaddy. Managing our DNS with Cloudflare and our deployment on Vercel. When I add A DNS record Proxied, the domain isn’t working anyway even though I waited quite a long time. But when I edit as DNS only, it works without any issue.
Proxy feature of Cloudflare is the number one reason why I’m here, but having this trouble makes me frustrated. I really don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Now my website online on https://worlddancehub.com/ but it’s not Proxied now. I’m afraid if I change the status from DNS only to Proxied, it may go offline again.
Anyone have any idea how can I approach this issue?
Hi, thank you for your reply. You’re right, my site successfully added to Cloudflare. And DNS Setup is full as you can see in the attached image. The issue is, that when I change Proxy Status from ‘DNS only’ to ‘Proxied’, the site goes offline and we cannot reach it for some reason. I couldn’t figure out what’s going on, to be honest.
You didn’t say what problem you see when the site is proxied. Do you get a Cloudflare error page (if so, what does it say), and error from your browser, or something else?
You are absolutely right! After changing the encryption mode to full strict as you suggested, the issue resolved and the site is still live after changing the status from DNS only to Proxied.
