Proxied CNAME records not sent to the backend

Hi,

We have several proxied CNAME records pointing to an AWS ELB and we get the 503 from Cloudflare but there are not request reaching the backend ELB.
Is there any configuration that might be preventing Cloudflare from sending the reverse proxy request to the backend?
