Our site is reachable via IP address and via Cloudflare DNS but as soon was enable proxy it just times out

Error 522 occurs when Cloudflare times out contacting the origin web server.

This is not helpful - I have said the site is perfectly functional via ip address. It’s when we enable Cloudflare proxy that the error occurs.
