Propagation time after removing a site away from Cloudflare

Hello

3 days ago now I removed a site from my subscription, however, the DNS servers for the sites domain are still pointing to cloudflare servers.

This seems excessive to me, I’ve never had to wait so long before for propagation.

Anyone else experienced the same issue? Have I just got lucky before and over 3 days is fair game?

You can remove a site from subscription, but you’ll still need to point your name servers somewhere else. I wouldn’t count on DNS “disappearing” unless you replace it with something else.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I just had face slap moment. I originally moved away as I was troubleshooting email issues. I changed my MX records back to my host but never changed the nameservers at my domain registrar.
