Profile not found. Tried ~/.bashrc, ~/.bash_profile, ~/.zshrc, and ~/.profile

Steps taken

  1. Navigated to
  2. Generated new project using
  3. Updated name field in the wrangler.toml file to be the “app name”
  4. Updated GitHub repository > Settings > Secrets for the API Token and Account ID

The build fails due to the following error

=> Profile not found. Tried ~/.bashrc, ~/.bash_profile, ~/.zshrc, and ~/.profile.
=> Create one of them and run this script again
=> Append the following lines to the correct file yourself:

export NVM_DIR="$HOME/nvm"
[ -s “$NVM_DIR/” ] && . “$NVM_DIR/” # This loads nvm

Any ideas on why this occurs? Thanks

That’s not an error, just what happens when nvm installs. Also, if it’s failing I would recommend trying to deploy Kristian’s version instead, it’s more up to date.

If it still doesn’t work, send the GitHub repo so we can take a look at the log

I created a .bashrc file in my Github repo and added

export NVM_DIR="$HOME/nvm"
[ -s “$NVM_DIR/” ] && . “$NVM_DIR/” # This loads nvm
