Hey, we are having some problem with displaying bärgarn.se on facebook for example. The output is looking like this xn–brgarn-bua.se/ Is this related to cloudflare or domain registrar?
This is not related to Cloudflare. It’s just how Internet standards deal with Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs). The domain name includes special characters, so it’s being translated into Punycode, which is how xn–brgarn-bua.se is being displayed. In this context, both Cloudflare and Facebook are simply adhering to these standards.
