Problems after deleting WP website

For a number of technical reasons I had to delete a new WP website and reinstall WP. Now the new site won’t let me access the normal setup procedure to connect to the database. It gives a 500 error. I don’t know if this is because I had already set up Cloudflare and changed the name servers, but what is the best way to restore my domain?
