Problems accessing my website with "www"

Hello, I cannot access my website with “www”, I always have to access “domain. com”, why does this happen to me?

Have you set a DNS record for www? Is it set to the same A record as example.com or CNAME to example.com? Is your origin set to handle www.example.com or do you [want to] redirect it on Cloudflare?

Post your domain name for a faster check.

My domain name is infoclub.com.uy, what would the configuration be like to add www?

You have a wildcard DNS entry so you are matching www even if you don’t have a specific DNS entry for it so Cloudflare is passing on the request to your origin. (You may want to remove the wildcard if you aren’t using it and replace it with a specific www value depending on what other subdomains you use).

Your origin server isn’t responding to requests for www.infoclub.com.uy so you either need to make that happen (talk to your host) or…

…do you want to redirect www.infoclub.com.uy to infoclub.com.uy? That can be done on Cloudflare here…

I would like to add the www too. How should I do it, could you help me?

Go to your DNS…

If there is an entry for ‘www’ already, then edit it, otherwise create it, like this…

If that doesn’t work, you need to set your hosting to accept requests for www.infoclub.com.uy.
