Private network type application MFA

Hi, I have created a private network type application in my zero trust. The application is set up via cloudflared tunnel and able to restrict by the access policy. But I would like to apply MFA for this private network type application, is it possible?

I have read the enforce MFA doc and cannot find “Rules” in my app portal, which only has “policies” and I don’t see any relate to Authentication Method.

Please advise, Thanks a lot.

Hi there,

On your ZT dashboard, go to Settings > Authentication and add your methods there:

After that you’ll be able to select them as Identity providers on your application authentication settings.

Take care.

Hi thanks for you reply,
I do have Azure AD Authentication already, but which request MFA when user login WARP only.
I would like to know how to make this MFA can apply to my private network app too.

e.g For self-hosted type application, I can see there a MFA option and request approval setting for the app. Is this also available for private network type application
