Possible to Use 1.1.1.1 with CenturyLink?

#1

Is it possible to use 1.1.1.1 with CenturyLink and their/Zyxel C2100Z router, despite the fact that 1.1.1.1 times out when attempting to access it in a browser? Apparently, 1.1.1.1 is reserved by this router. Is there a workaround?

Two things:

If 1.1.1.1 times out in the browser try doing this steps. And report back so @cscharff can take a look.

In the mean time you can use 1.0.0.1 as primary and, for example, Google’s 8.8.8.8 as secondary.

You could also use the IPv6 addresses if your connection supports it.
