I plan on spinning up a virtual server within Linode. My end goal is for some type of automation within Cloudflare to send backup files of any data possible in case any type of restore is needed. We have ran into several issues where people have ran API calls and it didn’t go correctly and has been a nightmare. I do have postman configured with API to pull all zone data and other things, but this isn’t the solution i am looking for. Thinking outside the box i would like the data to be sent over a tunnel to an end point on the virtual server. I have searched github and have tried to do as much research as possible but i am over my head on this one. I assume others have done this i just need general guidance or references / ideas one may have on how to accomplish this goal. I am still in the process of understanding wrangler and workers and am not sure what type of tunnel to use for Cloudflare to send data to a virtual server sitting in Linode.
