Port issue

Greetings,

I’m using a free trial of Cloudflare, and I’m quite satisfied so far.

I would like to know more about the packages and their advantages.

Currently, I’m using a custom port for my domain, and it seems that the free package is not supporting it.

I need to activate the “Proxy” option in orfer to have full protectio on my domain.

My question for you guys is’ what is the best plan I can purchase to have support for my cutom port domain?

Thanks.

The Cloudflare proxy only works with a few ports; you can’t proxy arbitrary ports. The good news is that you don’t have to.

Set up an Origin Rule to direct traffic to your alternate port. In your dashboard, under Rules, you’ll find Origin Rules:

This link should get you there. Then, create a rule to send traffic to whatever port you need:

Then, instead of needing to access the site with something like example.com:4242, you can just use example.com.

Better news: you can do this on the free plan.
