Pointing a subdomain to an external DNS

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Hi, I am trying to create and point a subdomain to an external DNS for a company to manage the subdomain. I want to have say webshop.joebloggs.com to point to say NS1.externaldns.com

I’ve added a NS record, there the name section I have entered webshop, the content I’ve entered NS1.externaldns.com, the proxy status to DNS only and the TTL to auto.

But the third party says that the subdomain is not showing up as pointing to their name server.

Can anyone shed some light on the situation for me please?

The delegation is likely working, but the external DNS is not resolving NS or any other records for your domain.

If you give the real domain and subdomain it will be easier to check.
