What is the issue you’re encountering

Website Unreachable – Potential Cloudflare Routing or Firewall Issue

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

We are currently experiencing a connectivity issue with our subdomain:

webtrading.hoxtonfx.com
(IP: 86.104.251.174)

The domain is correctly configured in our Cloudflare DNS dashboard and proxied through Cloudflare.

:magnifying_glass_tilted_left: Issue Summary:
The website is completely unreachable from multiple networks and locations.

A traceroute from our network reaches up to as25369.net (likely the hosting network), but fails at the final hop, which should be the origin server (86.104.251.174).

The server is online and responds to internal requests.

DNS resolves correctly, but the connection times out when accessing via browser (ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT).

We suspect Cloudflare might be blocking or misrouting requests, or a Firewall/App rule may be interfering

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS records

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

The last hop should be to a Cloudflare IP address if the record is proxied. Currently that hostname is not proxied so traffic is not passing through Cloudflare and is going direct to your origin…

I can see it was proxied until earlier today…

If the problem persists now, while the DNS record is “DNS only”, then the problem is between you and the origin, not between you and Cloudflare.

Note that Cloudflare does not drop HTTP traffic, any HTTP requests blocked due to your Cloudflare settings will return a Cloudflare error page.
