Point the A record to the hosting IP address

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

I was told I need to contact Cloudflare to point the A record to the hosting IP address. I have this IP address, but I am unsure of how to go about making this change.

What is the current SSL/TLS setting?

Off

Is the website I currently see not the correct website?

If you need to change the record, you can do so here: https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns/records (select your domain)

Thank you so much for the response. There are multiple IP Addresses for each domain. We are trying to get SSL/TLS settings activated for email security. Would I change the IP Addresses all to the IP Address that the support team from our website host sent us?

Can you explain what exactly you’re trying to achieve? What problem do you currently have?

I’m not sure what you mean by:

Every time we send an email, we get a message stating syn-alias.com did not encrypt this message. I am trying to get this fixed with our website host and they told me to contact cloudflare

Can you test your email with https://www.mail-tester.com and share a link to the result here?

Which email service are you using for sending email?

Spam Test Result we are using TDS for email. Our domain host is Bluehost

I do not see anything wrong with that test.

Did you use the same sending mechanism where you see the error messages?

What si the exact error that you receive?

Whenever we send emails, anyone who receives them gets this red lock icon which says syn-alias.com did not encrypt this message. I just want to make sure every email we send is secure and not prone to eavesdropping/data leak.

Ohhh, I see.

This is a problem with your email service not supporting encryption (STARTTLS). There’s nothing you can do to change that on your own.

In that case, you need to find a new email service.
