Point CNAME to Cloudflare manager DNS record - need approval but no support contact

What is the issue you’re encountering

Can’t point a CNAME to an Cloudflare manager plattform record.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Try to solve this by my own, also tried to change it to an A record, but IP address is also blocked. Suggestion is to reach out to Cloudflare, but unfortunately we’re on the free plan and therefore doesn’t have the option to contact cloudflare directly.

The record is iamlegend.byyond.ch and the target to which it’s pointing is connect.funnelcockpit.com.

The plattform (funnelcockpit) only provides this CNAME.

Tip: I’ve found a solution, using a third, not cloudflare managed domain.
My CNAME now points to iamlegend.byyond.com which itself points to connect.funnelcockpit.com

Speaking of performance it doesn’t make a big difference or impact because it’s most of the time a one time resolving.
