Please wait while your request is being verified [Resolved]

I have read this issue somewhere before and seems to be related to Cloudflare RailGun.

My site and hosting worked well as usual with RailGun which is always turned off.

Recently there’s this redirection loop with message “Please wait while your request is being verified”

If I turn on RailGun and set Cloudflare to Developer Mode, the issue is only shown once and it works.

But this is not how it usually works as I don’t use RailGun and it is an issue that I have read if this is turned on.

It’s all over the place

Most of results of the above search indicate it’s a hosting issue, perhaps a wordpress or firewall issue

I am a bit  confused by your post, not sure if you’re using railgun nor if cf is paused or not. I’d wade through the google search results, perhaps refine the search with a bit of your configuration/hosting specifications and see if the results hit closer to your situation. Post back and let us know.

Thanks @cloonan Yes, this issue actually happened a few times before and it was resolved in a few days, not sure if it’s on the hosting or Cloudflare side.

I did read before in my hosting forum to disable railgun so I did and as far as I remember this is turned off when the site is operating as normal.

Right now I have to refresh my Development Mode each time in CF and turn RailGun on so I don’t get the endless redirection loop with that message.

I have not paused Cloudflare because I have to use SSL. It works without it but of course as a non secure http version.

It turned out to be our was hosting under maintenance, is using Immunify360 and it did affect sites even though they gave prior notice that it will not be otherwise.

Their maintenance is now done and Issue Resolved
