40 hours and still SSL Pending website not live because of cloudflare
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I have tried to call Cloudflare, I created a ticket. The website is not live and there does not seem to be anything wrong with the way we have set it up. I am hoping someone can please help us!
I have a free account (we did pay for many years though).
I cannot get a resolution and my company is BLEEDING as this is our busy season and there does not seem to be an end in sight. I can’t get answers and I would like to see if Cloudflare can release the CACHE or help - PLEASE!
Going to your site there is a Shopify page utilising an SSL certificate issued yesterday for your domain, saying there is a problem with your Shopify configuration so it doesn’t seem to be an SSL problem.
Please please please help us. Our website has been down for over 55 hours and we are panicking.
We need you to release the domain name.
The DNS settings are just fine. We used another domain on our godaddy account and set it up on shopify just fine…it is our domain that we used to flow through you.
I can’t get a hold of anyone, there is no phone number, I can’t get help,
You mentioned SSL Have you actually contacted Shopify? Is it actually that Shopify telling you they can’t add your domain due to a Cloudflare restriction? That would be odd as your domain is resolving to Shopify ok and presenting a Shopify error page so the Cloudflare end seems ok.
If Shopify has told you to contact Cloudflare about it, you will need to raise a Cloudflare support ticket.
Yes it is not a shopify issue. We threw another domain name up and it works perfecty. Cloudflare is holding our domain hostage. I have now PAID for an account to try and remedy it and I still have no way to contact support or resolve this issue. I am at a complete loss! Please someone contact me. Our website has been down 60 hours because of this.
I tried to create a ticket a day ago…i used the domain name that is in question. It put it back into this limbo state again and I cant delete it and I cant do anything with it. This is a very serious isse and I have NO WAY to get a hold of anyone. I just paid for an account to try and get live chat but live chat is just AI and not a real person. If you look at the bottom of this picture you can see i cannot delete this domain name.
Shopify is definitely not the issue. Look at Bohnsports.com…this is our domain - just another one we have. We threw that up there and it works fine.
Cloudflare is holding the domain in some cache and I can’t get it out. I did pay for an account because I thought i could get live chat. I submitted a ticket almost 2 days ago and have not heard back.
The domain in Cloudflare is in a “Finish Setup” state. Go to the domain overview page, select a free plan, the domain will then be in the “Invalid nameserver” or “Pending” state. You will then be able to delete it.
Also…we had this on a free plan days ago. We deleted it off days ago and it was still having issues.
I went back in to submit a ticket and it somehow put it back on the free plan. This honestly is very confusing and I really really wish cloudflare had a customer support line.
It will default to say that, but as your status is “Finish setup” you haven’t selected one. Go to the overview page and complete the setup process so the status changes to “Invalid nameservers”. You will then be able to delete the zone from Cloudflare.
