Php 5.3 and API Access

i’m trying to find an example of accessing the api using php 5.3.
I am able to check the api from the linux command line using curl -X GET

but when i try doing that from a php file, i get an ssl error message.

the code i’m using is this:
$ch = curl_init(‘’);
$headers = array();
$headers = “Authorization: Bearer 1ECHEd8…”;
$headers = “Content-Type:application/json”;
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HTTPHEADER, $headers);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, true);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_CUSTOMREQUEST, ‘GET’);
curl_setopt ($setuploginurl, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, 1);
curl_setopt ($setuploginurl, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST, 1);
$result = curl_exec($ch);
if (curl_errno($ch)) {
echo ‘Error:’ . curl_error($ch);
echo “
” . print_r($ch) ;

has anyone been able to connect to the api using php 5.3?

Not exactly addressing your question, but I’d strongly recommend to update to 7.4. Your version hasnt be supported for almost six years.

i know.
i would like to do that, but is’d not possible.
