Issue with Root Domain Showing Phishing Alert After Connecting to Kajabi
Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with my domain ourluminouslife.com, which is purchased through GoDaddy, and I would appreciate any help in resolving this.
Setup Details:
• My website is fully built on Kajabi.
• I followed Kajabi’s instructions to connect my custom domain by updating my nameservers, which they provided, to Cloudflare.
• My site www.ourluminouslife.com is set to show My Kajabi site (ourluminouslife.mykajabi.com).
• The www. version of my site works fine, has an SSL certificate, and displays as secure with the lock icon.
The Issue:
• When I enter ourluminouslife.com (without “www”), I get a phishing alert in Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
• On Firefox, it shows as unsecure (no HTTPS).
• On Safari, it does show https://ourluminouslife.com, but it still throws a phishing warning.
• I’ve checked multiple blocklists, and my domain is not flagged anywhere for phishing or security issues.
• Kajabi has been unable to resolve this issue, despite multiple attempts at troubleshooting.
What I’ve Tried:
• I attempted to create a redirect for the root domain to point to www.ourluminouslife.com, but this broke the nameservers with Kajabi, so I had to revert it.
• I do not have a personal Cloudflare account. Since Kajabi provides the nameservers, the domain is effectively managed through Cloudflare via Kajabi.
Seeking Help:
• Has anyone encountered this issue when using Kajabi + Cloudflare-managed nameservers?
• Is there a way to properly redirect the root domain without breaking the connection?
• Could this be an SSL mismatch issue or a Cloudflare security setting that Kajabi needs to configure on their end?
• How can I remove the phishing alert for the root domain when I am not actually on any blocklists?
I’ve spent hours trying to figure this out, and Kajabi doesn’t seem to have a solution. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
