[https://www.whatsmydns.net/#TXT/_acme-challenge.associationofresearch.org](check dns) is showing that TXT record is created with CNAME.
This seems different from the other post. That one is for TXT that are hidden from dashboard. Do you not see this record in dashboard and are you using Cloudways?
The problem is resolved after disabling and enabling Universal SSL. Although the problem was the same, TXT was hidden from the dashboard.
