Percent page cached huge drop since switching from Page rules to Cache rules

Percent Cached has dropped by 80% since migrating from Page rules to Cache rules.

Followed the migration guide here: Page Rules migration guide · Cloudflare Rules docs

I followed the migration guide yesterday to migrate from Page rules to cache rules, and the “Percent Cached” on the dashboard has dropped from 90%+ to around 10% (see screenshot). Is this expected behaviour? Or have I missed a setting?

Is there any specific URL or domain you are not seeing cache: HIT on that you are expecting to?

This looks like a mistake by me, I just checked my homepage and even that wasn’t a HIT. So I knew it must be something I had misconfigured.

Turns out I’d used URI instead of Hostname in the dropdown. So I assume the cache percentage will go up over the next day or so! Thanks for your help!

Just to confirm, yes it did fix the caching issue.
